Books To Read: The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Very Busy Spider......



 
Eric Carle. I am sure you know him....you don't?!!! Why he is only the most famous author of some of your favorite books. Don't believe me? How about Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Or how about The Very Quiet Cricket (shhh...you got to be very quiet when you say it)? Remember Now? Of course you do! For a second there, I almost believed you! Now that you can remember him, let's talk about some of his most recognized works. Other than him being a designer and talented illustrator,  as you know he has written dozens and dozens of books enriching your lives as well as mine. So it is not a surprise because of it, that he has done something with them that you will love. He made them into audiobooks! That's right! Now you can snuggle up to your favorite stuff animal and rest quietly in your bed as you listen and flip the pages of his most prized books. I got two for you just for the occasion!

Now this book is the most recognizable. As you will read you will discover and listen to the narrator tell a story about a very, very hungry caterpillar. As he bursts out of his egg, he just can't find it in himself to not to stop eating and boy does he eat! The Very Busy Spider (Unabridged) [Unabridged Fiction] - Eric Carle

After being blow off into the wind and sweeping up onto to a farm, this very busy spider finds herself becoming....very busy! She has a web that needs to be woven and although the farm animals at the farm try to talk her out of it, they realize the beauty and usefulness of it! Sounds like a great story huh!
